A twelve lakes tour of awesomely beautiful Western Lakeland including majestic Wastwater, Ennerdale, Loweswater, Crummock Water and Bassenthwaite, with an extended lunch break in the historic market town of Cockermouth. Visiting the birthplace of William Wordsworth, an amazing 11th Century church and returning via the breathtaking Wasdale, Duddon and Eskdale valleys and Wrynose Pass. A fascinating tour of Brontë Country including Haworth and its famous Parsonage: home of the Brontë family from 1820, the Brontë Museum and the Brontë sisters' school at Cowan Bridge. Ample time to see the many attractions of Haworth's quaint village. Visiting Hawes, Capital of the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton and its castle, and countryside of outstanding beauty, diversity, history and tradition.
