Please note that your card number and details, name, home address, e mail address and telephone number is for the use of Lakes Supertours only and is being handled through a legally approved secure system (SSL) (Secure Socket Layer) and will not be disclosed to any third party for any reason. We at lakes Supertours Ltd offer an excellent service and may retain e mails and phone numbers in case we need to refer back to the customer for any reason; for instance lost property.


Our Booking Policy Terms and Conditions

All major credit and Debit cards are accepted. Bookings can be made online at Lakes Supertours website by phone or by e mail or personally by calling in at Lakes Supertours booking office at Lakes Lodge , 1 High St. Windermere, LA23 1AF

Advance payment of the full price is required to confirm a reservation. No refund will be given in the case of cancellation or no show.

Lunches and refreshment are not included in the fare.

Please read carefully the itinerary of any tour you may book for extras which are not included in the fare.

We reserve the right to change the routes depending on weather and traffic conditions.

We reserve the right to cancel and offer an alternative tour if passenger numbers are not met.

Return, Refund, Cancellation and Minimum Age Policy

There is no minimum age.

Please note infants and toddlers must, by law, be allocated a seat on the tour bus and therefore the seat paid for.

Toddlers less than 1.3 mtrs tall must sit on a ‘child booster’ seat and infants a baby cradle on his/her own seat – not in the arms of a parent.

Cancellation

If the tour has to be cancelled due to weather conditions or of insufficient numbers then this will result in a change of date if possible or a full refund.

Property & Luggage

Lakes Supertours are not responsible for lost property although every effort will be made to return lost items to their dutiful owners.

Passenger’s cars may be parked, at passengers own risk, at Lakes Lodge 1 High St Windermere, LA23 1AF free of charge for the duration of the tour.

Passengers luggage cannot, by law, be carried on tour buses but may be left free of charge at Lakes Lodge, 1 High St. Windermere, LA23 1AF for the duration of the tour.

Pets

Unfortunately dogs and other pets cannot be carried on our tour buses.

Liability – 3rd Party Operators

Our tours involve third party operators who carry our passengers under their own safety policy terms and conditions. Lakes Supertours Ltd is therefore not responsible for any damages, loss or injuries incurred by our passengers whilst partaking of these attractions.

This also includes closures and cancellations by the third party operators over which Lakes Supertours Ltd. has no control.

Accessability

If you are in a wheel chair or have mobility problems then please discuss these issues with the driver/guide and with the Operations Manager at Lakes Supertours Ltd. office before departure.  Some attractions, such as the boat cruise, may not be suitable for wheelchair users and/or people with walking difficulties.

Delivery

The service offered is to be taken on the day of request unless an alteration has been approved by the Transport Manager at Lakes Supertours Ltd Booking Office beforehand. Lakes Supertours Ltd Booking Office is situated at Lakes Lodge just 2 minutes walk from Windermere railway and bus stations in the direction of Windermere town centre at 1 High St. Windermere, LA23 1AF (Tel 015394 42751), admin@lakes-supertours.com

Turn left out of the train/bus station, past the entrance to Booths Supermarket and then bear left past the Tourist Information Centre towards Windermere town centre. .

Lakes Lodge and Supertours is immediately in front of you in the middle of the road.

Timings

It is the responsibility of the passenger to arrive on time to join the tour before the appointed departure time or to inform Lakes Supertours Ltd transport office (015394 42751) where they intend to join the tour at the time of making the reservation ( Lakes Lodge, Name of Hotel, B & B, Train Station etc.) whereupon a pick up time will be arranged. Lakes Supertours Ltd can arrange pickups in the Windermere , Bowness and Ambleside areas, if we know in advance.

Passengers must be ready to board the tour bus, on time, at any appointed pick up place. Although it is Lakes Supertours Ltd policy to be on time to pick up passengers as arranged, sometimes due to traffic hold ups in busy periods this may not be possible. It is the responsibility of passengers to contact Lakes Supertours Ltd Transport office if in any doubt.

We arrange to pick up passengers before the appointed tour departure time so as to ensure all passengers booked on a tour are present before departure.
Strict time keeping is expected of all passengers throughout the tour, especially at sightseeing stops and after the lunch break.
